The
AHL Foundation supports cultural and artistic events that
raise public awareness of the contributions of Korean-American
artists to the contemporary scene. Its activities include
an annual competition that is open to all artists of Korean
ancestry living in the United States.
AHL Winners at Nabi Gallery showcases five past winners--Sung
Ho Choi, Jungsu Han, Jane Jin Kaisen, Haegeen Kim, and Aegi

The
DMZ Forum is an international coalition working toward
the long-term goal of a nature sanctuary and "Peace
Park" in what is now the Demilitarized Zone separating
North and South Korea. A 155-by-2.4-mile stretch of
mountainous land that has been largely devoid of human activity
since the close of the Korean War in 1953, the DMZ is home
to many animal, bird, and plant species that are endangered
or extinct elsewhere on the peninsula. Admission to
the June 25 event is $60. For more information contact
